The ascent, ski to the feet, of Mont Blanc is probably the desire of all ski mountaineers.
The route is not easy and the direct descent along the North wall is sometimes complex, you ski at almost 5000 meters, but once you reach Chamonix, in front of a great beer, the memories of this adventure will draw a wide smile on our faces , and we can say I did it !!!!
PROGRAM:
01 Day
rendez vous in Chamonix, ascent to Cosmiques shelter 3613 mt.
difference in height: 2800 mt. by cableway.
Rise time: 30 min.
02 Day
Ascent to the summit along the route of the 3 monts.
Descent along the North side.
Difference in height: 1300 mt. about
Rise time: 6 - 8 hours
NB
If the conditions allow it we will face the itinerary of the 3 Mountains starting from the Cosmiques shelter 3613 mt. otherwise we will opt for the North side, the one faced by the first climbers in 1786, staying overnight at the Grand Mulets refuge at 3051 meters. of quota.
Technical Level:
- Good skiers on all the snows.
- Ski day at a good pace.
- Sometimes steep slopes.
- Good physical condition.
Specific material required for progression on glacial terrain:
(Harness-ax-crampons).
